I remember a phrase from a movie when the guy says “Slow is steady and steady is fast” (or something like that).
Last week, I also remember me explaining to my daughter that if A = B and B = C then A has to be equal to C.

After that movie, I kept on wondering why two opposites concepts like slow and fast could be equal one to another.
I figured that out shortly after, but it was until last week that I could see how this can even be proved with math.

Opposite concepts like more and less or lack and abundance are then two sides of the same coin.
We can use this explanation to justify having more or to proof our right to abundance.
With the same perspective one can say it’s ok for people to lack this or that.

Let’s instead, look at the coin itself and not just one side or the other.
Balance, equilibrium and center. Everyone can say if a coin is not right just by looking at it.

Everyone can say when someone else lack or have too much of a certain thing. We also know that about ourselves.
It’s just hard, really hard to accept it and even harder to do something about it so we return to the balance.

Minimalism can be a tendency to just keep some balance. Like sailing, just a bit to the right and then a bit to the left.
It’s not necessarily living on the need, but living with the necessary.
We will know when we’re going too much to the left or to the right.

Less = happiness. More = happiness. Less = happiness = More. Happiness being the tip of the balance.

Keep it steady (and neat).
