Minimalism. This is what it means to me

If asked about minimalism meaning, I’m sure you have some sort of idea in your mind. Usually, I hear people discussing minimalism meaning about design, art, books, sometimes poverty (!), etc.

It is true that minimalism has affected arts, design, and all artists in many ways. But I suspect that most people talk about these topics because of the media magnitude they receive. To be honest, most of the information we hear on the topic is not really useful in our everyday life.

Minimalism’s meaning goes much deeper

This blog is dedicated to approaching minimalism from many angles and extracting all the benefits that are useful and important in our current lifestyle. I say “current lifestyle” because that’s what’s important to us. Sure, art, design, and media can talk or apply minimalism in their content, but my focus is on our everyday life. How can make it better and more joyful?

From our health, our finances, our relationships, and our deeper purpose in life, minimalism can have a bold impact on everything.

Can you learn about the minimalism meaning in this single article?

It would be a lie if I said yes. I could give you hundreds of explanations, hundreds of quotes from hundreds of famous people throughout history from the ancient Buddhists, to the ancient Greeks, Stoics, and everyone in between all the way to Einstein and Elon Musk. But that would be pointless. If this is the first time you hear about minimalism, keep in mind the phrase:

less is more

and we will discuss further how “less” can be “more”. What “less” will provide more “more” and what “more” can be “let go”

For now, let me ask you to pause for a moment

Can you feel and experience Tranquility?

Can you pause your thoughts, your rush, whatever there is you are doing? Just stop for a moment take notice of yourself as a human being.

Notice your body, how you are standing, notice your breath, notice everything around you.

“Every day brings its own gifts” said Marcus Aurelius

Have you noticed it lately?

Give yourself the opportunity to enjoy every day’s gifts. Listen to some music that makes you happy.

There is too much noise around us, but there’s also too much noise inside us…

We can’t hear the beauty of life unless we stop for a moment and listen. We need some silence. Some tranquility.
