Sometimes seems hard to hold on a minimal lifestyle. Filtering everyday life with all the stress going around, hitting you non-stop. With things being constantly out of control. With all the people around you that don’t seem to understand.

How can you be calm? How can you even think something like living a minimal lifestyle? Why even getting there when so many things seem so important and immediate?

How can you support and follow principles that tell you about happiness and thankfulness and love and living with less and having more? [Just a small part of a minimal lifestyle]

How can you even start thinking all these when voices start shouting everywhere and distract you from your path: Negativity, anger, fear, stress, sneakiness Everywhere!!

How can you filter all these out and live pure?

You can’t! And that’s a fact. But something amazing started happening when adopted the minimal lifestyle

I like to call it: Minimal Lifestyle Voice

The voice I speak inside my head and I try to tell myself that it’s OK, that people don’t mean to do bad, they are just suffering inside their own self. I try to not be judgmental although very difficult and try to understand where they come from and why they are being the way they are. They are not aware of their suffering, but even if I see it I cannot judge them on it.

Where there is understanding, there cannot be anger. Where there is love, there cannot be fear

I try to stay unaffected by the negativity but that is not enough

It would be selfish and totally not practical to just avoid negativity. A position of reactivity that can never stop. So I try to bring positive elements in the lives of people I sense to be negative. A good word, a smile, or even just listening.

Hell, these are both hard and I ain’t being no saint here.

But this is a win-win for all. Negativity is bad for all, so even if I didn’t care for anyone but me, it still would be beneficial to spread some positivity. In the end, it all comes back to you. And calm, minimal lifestyle is being built little by little.
