Writing about minimalism, calmness, and happiness, I don’t write about some dream I have or some vision about the future. These are actual facts of my life, and this is my view of reality. One cannot just speak about a minimal lifestyle without actually living a minimal lifestyle at full potential.

I sincerely believe that every single one of us lives in his/her own reality. Those realities don’t have to be identical, and with Minimal Lifestyle, I open a window into my reality so everyone can take a look.

Some will agree, some will disagree, and again, that’s ok. We are all here to learn and to evolve.

I wasn’t always like this. I use to get very emotional about every little thing that would happen in my environment. Mood swings were my everyday routine, and a feeling of emptiness was always left uncovered at the end of the day.

This was because I tried to fill the emptiness with things or with people’s approval. I was constantly trying to do things to make others proud of me. It wasn’t something that came from me. It was a feeling of dependency on things out of me.

At some point, the realization that happiness comes from within kicked in, and I started to make some changes. Small changes initially, but every little step would bring me closer to what I call tranquillius.

The need for tranquility made me go faster and faster in this direction, and now it affects me every day, my way of talking, my way of thinking, my way of eating, spending, and every little detail of my life.

Tranquillius is a state of being and it affects everything I do

My question is, would you let it affect you?
